| Thallus pale olive-green, thin, smooth, glossy. Ascomata immersed in poorly defined flattened off-white stromata; stromata irregular in outline, c. 2 mm long and 1 mm wide; lirellae narrow, richly branched, 0.5–1.5 mm long, 0.15–0.20 mm wide, with slightly raised thalline margins, open. Disc black, white-pruinose. Proper exciple non-carbonised, inconspicuous. Hymenium 60–80 µm thick. Ascospores 8 per ascus, pale brown, 4-locular, 14–18 × 5–6 µm. CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected. |
